Faith and Finance & Cooking on a Budget Class
Our Summer session will begin Friday, June 11. We have adjusted the format to include preparing a take-home meal with each class.
We’ll discuss managing money for the first 45-60 minutes of each class, then have a 30-45 minute lesson related to grocery shopping budgeting or using labor saving kitchen items (crock-pots, Instant pots, air fryers, etc) and we’ll even discuss some preserving methods. In the last part of each class we’ll lead a hands-on cooking lesson. Each cooking lesson will allow the participant to prepare a take-home meal ready to cook (or freeze for later).
*New participants can earn their choice of a new Instant pot, slow cooker or small air fryer. *Repeat participants are very welcome and they can earn a $25 grocery gift certificate. (*One incentive per family.)

TEFAP and CSFP (USDA Commodities) Distribution (Moffat County only):
Monthly on the 3rd Tuesdays from 10:00am-12:00pm or on the 3rd Thursday from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Distribution Site: 595 Breeze St., Craig (Moffat County Social Services Building)
Low-income Moffat County residents can come either day but not both.
Dinosaur and Maybell clients must call by the Thursday before the 2nd Friday each month to receive a delivery on the 2nd Friday each month.

Love INC Cooking-on-a-Budget and Faith & Finance budget classes
We will be teaching a 12 week long set of classes to help individuals learn the skill of budgeting and cooking frugal, yet tasty meals for residents of Routt, Moffat, and Rio Blanco Counties. Next set of classes begin January 9, 2019, at 5:30pm. Call Love INC to register soon as space is limited. Incentives are earned by families taking the classes for the first time. any recipes are especially formulated to make the best use of food received by food pantries or commodities distributions. Participant referrals from other agencies are accepted as long as we are provided a name and current phone number so we can contact the proposed participant.
